Arirang Symphony MTY
created by Korean-Mexican pianist and composer KL Joon, is a multicultural concert that blends tradition and modernity. Inspired by the Korean folk song “Arirang,” it combines a symphony orchestra, traditional instruments such as the saenghwang and taepyeongso, with contemporary elements of pop, electronic, and rock music.
Mission
Featuring more than 70 artists on stage, it includes the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra of Nuevo León and Mexican dance ensembles, symbolizing the encounter between Korea and Mexico.
Vision
More than a performance, it conveys a message of peace and unity, showing how music can serve as a bridge between cultures and a vehicle for global dialogue.
